What It Means to Be Attached to the Outcome
Seth Godin: One of the things that you also push back against is people's concern with the outcome. He says attachment is a Buddhist term, and it's really important to understand what it means to be attached. The best he can do in his work is simply do the work without attachment for what the other person is going to do because that's out of your control. And if I'm thinking in advance whether Joe is going to like my new book or not, I can't write.
