The Timing of the New York Indictment

The most plausible explanation for the timing of at least the New York case is they're bumping up against the statute of limitations. So there was a time limit on when they would be able to bring this case and it was apparent from the things that they were saying, says CNN legal analyst Kate Binder. There's some suggestion out there by legal analysts that DA Bragg jumped first and issued this indictment and that might prod others to come forward.
