Is Capitalism the Worst Form of Government?

Capitalism is really great for projects where you're building a product where you can capture value. But it doesn't work really good for public goods, things like open source software which create $400 billion per year in economic value. So how do we collapse the distance between value created and value captured is the design space and we now have programmable money.
