The Problem With Frank First Distinguishment Between First and Second Order Desires
The distinction between first and second order desires is problematic for Piper's argument. Jerry Walls actually utilizes this distinguishment to further his argument for eternal conscious torment in his book, The Logic of Damnation. I would also add in defense of the Arminian that I think Piper overstates the opposition.
