"I remember hearing e somty told me a story, i think, in japan. He said it was a possible way of life, a man running away from his own shadow," he says. "He then realized that all he had to do was to hop under a tree and the shadow disappeared." The author asks why thought comes into this world, into the area realm of the psyche. Is it because when you have a thought, it's like, asbestus to hold something hot? You have the illusion that with the thought, you cald control something, which, in this uncontrolled state, might be overwhelming.
