Introduction
Colon jitis was first described by Dr. Jean-Franco in the 1880s. The Tokyo guidelines provide diagnostic criteria and severity grading for gallstone diseases, such as acute colosse stitis and colon jitis. Risk factors for stone formation include age, female sex, obesity, pregnancy, and multi-parity. Other types of stones include pigmented gallstones.
