The Importance of Love in Sufism
Rumi: Love is so much more than an emotion or a human state. It's the very nature of reality. So what Rumi is doing and what he did in his life was to use love as a transformative power. He himself was transformed by it through his meeting with his friend and mentor, Shamsi Tabriz. That compassion, nurturing compassion is the divine nature. And this is the truth. This is the highest truth.
