I'm Not an Idealist, Right?

I think it's open to the classical theist to talk about all of history as a thought of god's writes. The only problem that i have is that the thoughts were in his mind first, and then in the world. So if thoughts are actions, then there's no problem for simplicity. People who hold to simplicity believe that god can act and it not mess with a not add composition to his being. But that can't be how god acts. God must simply affect the world directly.
