The Social and Economic Structure of France

In the July monarchy, both unions and strikes were illegal. The disagreements inside this small liberal ruling click came down to what you might call fucks and around the edges. This was a regime built by and composed of upper bourgeois liberals. They ignored both noble claims to ancient privileges and working class claims to new rights.
