The Birth of Christ, the Year of the Lord, the Birth of Christye
Christianity didn't have enough importance at that point to impose clenrical system, i riss when jesus was born. In fact, it doesn't happen until around 800. It was decided to be an event of such importance that time should start from then. So for us that it's now 20 19. There are different calendars still in use around the world, but this is the one we use.
