The Murder Mystery of a Soldier's Story
The film stars Howard E. Rowland's Jr., Adolf Caesar, Art Evans, Denzel Washington, David, Alan Greer and Larry Riley. The story of Captain Davenport, a black army investigator who travels to a remote military base in the heart of the Louisiana backwoods for a murder mystery. Once he arrives, Davenport discovers an army regiment that strictly adheres to the violent and oppressive Jim Crow laws of the Deep South. What's originally believed to be a racially motivated murder develops into a much more complicated mystery.
