The Importance of Loving God

Paul says, I wish those who unsettle you would emasculate themselves. And then we get this tremendous line for the whole law is fulfilled in one word. You shall love your neighbor as yourself. So what does it mean for Paul to keep the law? What does it mean that Christ fulfills the law? Ultimately, Augustine would say that all of the scriptures are meant to lead us to the idea of loving God and loving your neighbor.
