Chips Are Harder Than Cars to Build
CNN's John Defterios says 90% of all our technology is dependent on chips. The US doesn't really make chips and high quantities, so it's easy to imagine a world where there's a Taiwan invasion or a blockade, etc., he says. But the real disturbing thing is as Chris basically pointed out, the factory and the specific TSMC factories in Taiwan are so fragile that if there's an invasion, whether or not we win, they'd be screwed.
