Using a P R v in Lung Disease

The machine has valves in it that allow you to spontaneously breathe throughout the entire cycle. There are really very few data to support the use of a p r v, though it's become a very popular mode. But i don't know that it's a better form of ventilating an a r d s patient than conventional mechanical ventilation and severe aras. It is a mode which is impossible to be asynchronous with, because you can breathe whenever you want to,. And that that may be an advantage, not i don'tknow that it is.
