There's this other discussion of taking the scientific method and just copying and pasting it over politics, or even using it to replace a certain kind of morality. I think that that's a huge part, is the attempt to use the window dressing of science to justify many of the systems that we see to day in place. The macification of the state is, in itself, i think, a consequence of the enlightenment. But, ah, but also, i think there is a mistake in thinking assuming that humans have become rational beings. And so i think it's important to understand ourselves as both rational beings, but also deeply irrational beings.
