Mollusks are a completely different phylum to insects, mammals and vertebrates. And if we look within the mollusks, we've got some organisms that have my mutinervous systems. Some are almost entirely cesare like the clams. Then you get various gastropods that again do insect type problems of navigating around on land and trying to find food. And then you get the kephylapods, which is the octopus and squid, which look like they're behaviorally really quite complex.
