Jack the Ripper: A Novel About Franz's Life
The novel ends the last act of the novel takes place in London. Franz basically leaves his palace, his castle falls in love with Lora Lee and follows her traveling company for a little bit. And then they go over to London where Lora Lee takes center stage as the star of this huge circus. He realizes that this object that he'd been trying to keep private is now being shared by strangers who also are enamored of her. Jack the River inserts into the narrative as an example of what happens when you get too wrapped up in your own mind and your own fantasies.
