In the crisis of cosmology, there is a tension. It's called a cosmic tension. Tension between these two different measurements. And alien comes to visit and they see that people with straight hair curl it. Curly hair straighten their hair. People who are short wear heels. The aliens will say, you guys must deeply believe that you are irreconcilably ugly. Given how much money is spent on the beauty industrial complex, they would be right.
