The Importance of Conservation of Predation
For me, it's one of the things that I changed my mind about. 10 years ago I did a PhD in analytics, I defended predation with the idea like I value biodiversity and naturalness but nature itself doesn't care about these reasons ecosystems themselves don't care about animal welfare right? So basically these preferences of naturalness integrity, pre-stinnness biodiversity these values. These were values that I have and I see when I look at nature I see the beauty and the stability of the ecosystem. But nature itself doesn’t care about these things that I see. The ecosystem is not aware of what is biodiversity or things like that.
