What I Learned About Semitic Languages in the Marine Corps

The challenges of learning arabic to english speakers are in three categories. One is certainly the alphabet, right? That's the first thing you see as the letters are squiggly. And some letters change form depending on whether they're standing alone or at the beginning of the word. The second challenge, i think, is pronunciation. I don't want to be embarrassed by mispronouncing where they're so strange and their sound.
