The Irony of Dawkins' Design Language
Dawkins says he is hostile to fundamentalist religion because it debauches the scientific enterprise. He argues that we are ordered towards happiness, a being obligated to do things to promote his own flourishing. The irony is that someone like Dawkins ridicules people like Wise, yet he winds up using language and concepts that seem to only make sense in an universe teeming with order.
