The Dangers of Plagiarism in Education

I think it's a much deeper question. It makes me sad when people assume that all students do this, they don't. If students are plagiarizing, there's normally a reason for it. And as educators, we need to understand that. Plagiarism is different there, and the way that plagiarism is expressed is different. We can be very righteous in the UK and in the West, that our approach is the best. Whereas actually what we should do is try and understand why our students might be using chat GPT for plagiarism - not all of them.
