The Conservative Leader's Campaign to End the Safe Supply Program
Duly noted an update to our story last week on Pierre Poliev's campaign against the safe supply or safer supply program. The author of that piece softened his language as he continues to write about this new opioid epidemic, Duly noted. He now uses language like it appears to be a new crisis. That's the level of that's the corrections policy. But more importantly, I was kind of speculating like, wow, we actually might get a policy that is based on this very flawed National Post reporting. And sure enough, last week,Pierre Poliev went from a campaign to a motion calling on the liberal government to halt all programs and redirect funding to treatment services.
