German Chocolate Cake - The Color of Fall
In 1959, an entire children's line of clothing by the manufacturer, Youngland was inspired by it. Samuel German died in 1888 and is buried at Cedar Grove Cemetery in Dorchester. He never knew about the wide reaching fame of the cake that carried his name.
