Working Class Tradition?

I don't know where really, it comes from, probably just so o media representations, the idea that working class people are slobby. And i have to say, i actually think it's much more in my experience of working class people of your grannie's generation. That this was very much like a sort of standard that they held themselves and other people to. It did make them a lot of the time, seem a bit catty and a bit snovin. But i would say it actually a really working class tradition? Ye, i think so. Now, i think of my nan, and i think she'd be chuffed.
