Ronald regan is a huge television star at this he's no longer a movie star. He hasn't made a movie in like, a decade. For like ten years, he's working for general electric. And he also travels the country giving speeches. In 19 64, he offers to give a televised speech supporting a berry goldwater. A group raises money to buy national t v time for ronald regan to give a speech supporting a berries goldwater. The irony is that they're blast anything that prevented communism in america rather althoug en it. Though, i think some of the people that joined the new deal coalition assumed we would unwind all that stuff
