The History of Obesity

BMI is automatically calculated and populated in the chart because people get a height and weight measured when they come in the hospital. Some situations even where based on a patient's BMI, that might actually alter my medication dosing for them. So I would say that it's a lot less common for me to have a whole obesity-related conversation with a patient in the hospital either on the basis of BMI or in general.
