The Rise of Advanced Manufacturing in East Asia
Vietnam is not quite as far along in its development. What you see there, unsurprisingly, is more of the back end assembly. A testing or so-called OSAT operations. Malaysia tried to do sort of dabbled in fabrication. But they were never as fully committed and I think there are issues there due to sort of the complex, inter-ethnic relations there. Most of the people in the industry tend to be from minority groups including Chinese group.
