How to Be a Successful Beginner Trader

At that time there's a lot of you know risk management was not there when we started off. Back then I was just all over the place buying and selling chasing the market rather than properly letting the market come to you saying hey I'm going to take a trade from here and actually execute it. Just under analyzing and overcomplicating it per se right so what does that look like in specific? And how did you sort of get to the point where you realized that these are the things that I needed to become successful as an investor?
