The Motivation to Capitulate

I think Jones knows exactly what a vile person he is, I think there's a lot of self loathing there about it. It would have been funny if he had the lawyers written thing and then at the end was like, also fuck you Mark. That would have been legitimate. He that's long gone for Jones. The telling of the stories gives like some sort of plausible justification for like, I made a mistake. Other people make malicious action. All make mistakes. And I'm not a bad person who did something actively evil towards another human being.
