Do You Have a Wordsmith, or a Copywriter?
If you are doing design first, it's super easy to literally just copy out that headart thar you've designed and whacked into whatever tool. And that goes a long way to helping them visualize what they actually need. It all just comes down to making it easy. Some people are really good with words and content; others are not. If your client sends you a couple of paragraphs for the home page and it's not going to do anyone any good, you're going to have to get some help in that area.
