The Importance of Percy in Edipa's Life
This chapter does a really good job of setting us up to have a tangible sense of this the psychedelic approach to time and connection that the rest of the book handles while still situating us perfectly in the comfortable suburban world. I don't know just putting myself in edipa's place like if I was named executive or of my ex-girlfriends will you know it would confirm to me that we actually had a connection and that connection was special to that person. Pension seems like pension but romance is more heartfelt than people give them credit for.
