Is There a Lot of Margin in Software Development?
There's definitely a significant difference between bootstrapping a software company and then venture backing a software company. I feel like that comes down to how fast you can get product market fit and how good you are at marketing to the early products market fit. Like luckily I knew the product I wanted to build like I was the customer for it and so it wasn't as much of an exploration process you know. If you're entering something like graphic design is a macro vertical if you're going to try and compete with Canva you'regoing to have to blow some serious cash to get to a product where it's even close to being perfect.
