The First Gospel: The Promise of God

God does not directly curse Adam and Eve. Instead, he pronounces a curse upon him. He is the God who seeks and saves his lost children, but he doesn't seek and save the source of evil. The Lord has no conversation with the serpent. After he curses the serpent, he says, I will put in matine between you and the woman... Between your seed and her seed, he shall bruise you on the head and you shall bruise him on the heel.
