The Importance of Having a Different Father
As I was writing my book, I was actually finding my own way back to my father. And all of a sudden, all the memories kind of came back to me. So this father that I depicted in my book is probably a very foreign or different father that people are really not used to. Not a very typical image of a father you'd see in Korean literature because he's a little shy and he's very kind.
