The Importance of Language Models
A large language model is a smart computer program that can understand and generate human like language it works by using a type of artificial intelligence called deep learning. During training the model analyzes the text data and tries to predict the next word in a sentence based on the words that came before it. The scientists are seeing more surprising emergent properties that they have never seen and couldn't predict before.
