Mental health and ampathy are crucial for product managers. The best actual customer empathy i've seen is from people who focus on the customers, not themselves. It's also very clear in an interview they mostly talk about themselves - a red flag already. A jobs like being public manager in a company can lead to high levels of stress that may be causing problems.
