i grew up in a small family of an older brother, 14 years my senior. My mother had a harsh upbringing and didn't learn how to be very affectionate. I don't mind the concept of touch, but just at my own pace,. or with the question of some form of consent. And i don't think your girl friend is intending to be an assel either. If you're not comfortable about something and you address its or significant other, i think they should respect that.
