China Cannot Come to the Rescue
I think we should be very skeptical about the idea of China coming to the rescue is because what you're seeing in China is almost like a kind of repeat, a replay of what you saw happening in the West in 2021. The US doesn't see Chinese growth as something beneficial; they see it as a threat. And so you'll see that actually Chinese growth, whereas in the past it was seen as potentially adding to stability or hopefully creating stability, now it's going to add to instability.
