The Relationship Between Rights-Based Liberalism and Communitarianism in the West

I think communitarianism is more concerned about solidarity. But classic liberalism in terms of their pursuit of individual rights to protect the property rights to life, they're more concerned about protecting individuals. And this preoccupation with protection of individual rights, certainly overlooks the necessity of having communities and people helping each other. I think communitarianISM is sort of a solution to this over reliance on individuality or this individualist consciousness. So the people would feel obliged to help each other as individuals.
