Colonialism and Coalitional Politics
In your book, you acknowledge in the book that Indigenous sovereignty and futurity is confrontational. What do you think academia should do when we are faced with these incommensurable differences and confrontational politics? I mean, a lot of the maybe conversations around decolonialities suggest because we all see ourselves as in it together, right? We can organize around coalitional politics toward actions that we see as socially just. And so that's really where I see the tension being a productive one.
