The Rise and Fall of Sigismund of Luxembourg
Sigismund of Luxembourg was one of the key figures in the crusade that led up to the disastrous Battle of Nicopolis. He had already had a pretty shaky reign as king of Hungary for a decade. Sigismund's political interests stretched from northern Germany into what's now the Czech Republic and of course into Hungary, which was then much larger than it is now.
