The Power of Recognizing Your Thoughts

Once you get the experience of, um, recognizing that it's just a thought and understanding that there's in the case of what I was going through, like there's nothing I can do about it. Just the recognition of that allows you the room to let go of the thought. It doesn't mean the thoughts are not going to come back, but it's in sort of a similar to meditation where, you know, thoughts come and thoughts go.
