My Dad's a Bread Thing
The next year is my bautmizva. I've been working on my speech for my candle lighting ceremony, in which i thank my folks, friends and loved ones. I'm so excited to perform for everyone, especially my dad, who's flying half way around the world to see it. Three days before the big day, i had to pick him up from tom bradley terminal - but he didn't turn up. Seeing him here helps me understand him better, but i also get a clearer sense of what i'm missing.
