The Tower of Silence
After death, a corpse demon is believed to have contaminated the body and everyone who comes in contact with it. Over three days loved ones gathered to sing and pray over the deceased but no one's allowed to touch the body. There's a ritual called Viewing of the Dog where a dog looks at the body three times. Within hours, vultures consume the dead's flesh until only bones remain.
