The Efficient Mode of Baptism in the Early Church
There are many different ways to do this that have been part of the tradition historically. Luther thought that immersion was fine, and plenty of the church fathers did speak about immersion. There's no doubt that that was a practice that often happened. So ther there's no, there's no issue there. Also, as doctor orland points out, we do have the didica and other early documents that dosea about other modes of baptism. They don't seem particularly hung up on the mode of baptism.
