The Different Types of Nuclear Explosions

Space is very different from our planet Earth. There's no atmosphere or water around it in order to actually detonate a nuke. So instead of having some of that radiation immediately absorbed, now there's nothing there. And so if a nuclear bomb blows up in space, you can get significant radiation damage even further away.
