What Is the Bull Whip Effect?

The bullwhip effect is basically a kind of logistical chaos that we haven't had for a very long time. It's this exaggeration of demand moves across the supply chain, which then caused these big distortions in the economy. But it's not ouw. This isn't a genuine recession signal. People fear losing their jobs, they stop spending. That feeds back into corporate revenues. Revenues go down, so you get further rounds of redundancies and the whole thing feeds on itself. We are a long way from that right now.
