I believe it has never been more difficult to be focused on a task. Having state of the art technology literally in your pocket can end up meeting productivities put to one side. Being able to use email productively without unleashing its destructive power is a real skill, and something that takes time and effort to perfect. Because otherwise it is very easy to just get caught in the thick of thin things.
