The Importance of Schooling for the Older Ages
Sally Kohn: My older son had an amazing experience all the way up through amazing teachers, amazing learning. But his fifth grade teacher was a real struggle for him and so we ended up moving the two of them to a charter school. Their sister had the option to stay where she was or come with them and she decided to go along with them. She says that creativity is just as important as literacy in today's world but schools have not been able to keep up.
